TENNIS TOURNAMENT
COMBINED HANDICAP DOUBLES. Palmerston North, July 11. The combined handicap doubles tennis tournament conducted by the Takaro Tennis Club yesterday was favoured with dry weather and was a successful fixture, twenty-four players participating. Each pair played three games, for each of which thirty points were obtainable. Tho following were the points obtained :— Boddy and Miss G. Kirk, 78 points; against Saywell and Miss White, 91 points against; McDonald and Miss D. Ferguson, 81 points against. The firstnamed pair having fewest, points registered against them were thus the winners of tho tournament.
