MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A special meeting of the Wellington Football Association was held on Wednesday to fill a vacancy on the Management Committee, fifteen delegates being present. Mr. W. Duncan presided, and pointed out to the delegates that the action taken by the Management Committee in regard to club subscriptions had placed the finances of the association in a better position than they had becu in before. The following were nominated for the vacancy: —Messrs. T. Farrington, C. Webster, A. Harding, W. Heseltine, J. Adams, K. Janes. The first ballot resulted in a tie between the two first-named, and a second ballot was taken, with the result that Mr. Farrington was elected. A meeting of the Management Committee was held subsequently, Mr. W. Duncan presiding. It was decided to ask the Porirua United Club for the registration forms of their members. Messrs. Farrington, Weir, aud Spolsky were appointed a sub-committee to draw up a rule in regard to transfers of lower division players. Mr. W. Wilson was appointed one of the selectors for the North v. South Island match. The Seatoun Club asked that Mr. K. Janes be substituted for Mr. M. Brown on the Management Committee.
