BORSTAL ESCAPEE RECAPTURED

—. —« Br teligbaph.—pbess Association. Invercargill, July 8. The Borstal escapee, William Howell, was recaptured to-day at Bush Siding, twenty miles from Invercargill, on the Waimnhaka line. Sergeant Hewitt and a constable find no difficulty, from information received, in locating Howell, who offered no resistance. He was wears' ing a suit of old clothes when arrested, and had been camping daily and travelling nightly. He will bo brought before the Magistrate to-morrow’ on a charge of escaping from custody.
