POLL FOR SPECIAL LOAN SUGGESTED. The Board of Health at its meeting this week had before it a letter -from the City Council asking that the board should issue a requisition enabling the council to raise a special loan of £25,000 to provide a steam disinfector and certain public conveniences in the city. Dr. Findlay, medical officer of health, attended in support of the request, which was also urged for favourable consideration by the Mayor (Mr. C. J. B.
