BOY SCOUTS’ RALLY
The Boy Scouts’ Rally is the principal outdoor attraction for to-day, and a largo gathering of the public is expected at the Basin Reserve to see the Scouts and Wolf Cubs at work and play. The Hon. the Chief Justice, Ministers of the Crown, and His Worship the Mayor have intimated their intention of being present. The Prime Minister cannot attend owing to prior engagements. It is anticipated that the public will welcome this'opportunity of witnessing the rally and at the same time helping the funds of the district. At the Dunedin Jamboree recently 1100 Scouts from all parts took part. Today 1300 boys from the city and suburban troops will endeavour to outdo the southern spectacle.
