MAN KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR > By 'Lelegraph.—Peess Association Hamilton, April 9. Frederick Dubfield, a married man, aged 35, was knocked down by a car at Morrinsville yesterday, and received a fractured leg 'and skull. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital. ■ FATAL BURNS. Auckland, April 9. Ralph-Ryan, aged 28, a married man, employed at the Westfield freezing works, dieo at the hospital from burns received from boiling material which he was removing from a digestor. RAILWAY EMPLOYEE INJURED. « Christchurch, April 9. William Eccles, married, a railway employee, had his left foot badly hurt this. morning during shunting operations at Lyttelton. He was oiling points and did not hear some approaching trucks. FOUND DEAD. Dunedin, April 9. Aubrey Wright, aged 39, a married man with a family of six, employed by Wright’s Commercial Agency, was found dead in his office this morning, with the gas turned on. MOTOR CYCLIST’S LEG BROKEN. Christchurch, April 9. A single man, B. Thomas, whose address is given as Hawkins, was riding his motor-cycle along the Riccarton Road this morning when lie and a motor-lorry carrying meat from the abattoirs came into collision. Thomas was conveyed to the Christchurch Hospital as soon as possible, where a medical investigation proved that his right leg was broken in two places. The motor-cycle was badly damaged. ’
