AFTER A FIRE
THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED
By Telegraph.—Press Association Dannevirkc, April 9. Last month a fire at Norsewood destroyed Matilia’s drapery store. Yesterday three residents of the township, Herbert Gleeson, a drover, Albert Graham Gleeson, a firewood dealer, and William Henry Thomas, a labourer, were arrested in connection with the fire. They were brought before the Magistrate’s Court at Ormondville, and remanded until April 16, on a number of charges in connection with tlie fire, including alleged breaking and entering. It is alleged that .articles from the store stock were found in their possession.
