MOTHER SUPERIOR'S GOLDEN JUBILEE
Pahiatua, April 9. The golden jubilee of the Mother Superior, Mother M. Gertrude Banahan, of the Brigidine Convent, has been celebrated. during the past few days 1116 Ri"ht Uev. Monsignor McKenna, Mastertan, the Rev. Father M. Cashman parish priest, and twenty-three nuns and priests have taken part. The Mother Superior wns presented with an address, and with fifty gold pieces. The visiting nuns were taken for motor delves, and a school entertainment was held.
