POLICE AND. SUMMONS CASES Dlr. W. G. Riddell, S.DL, dealt with police and summons cases, in the Dlagistrate’s Court yesterday. For a breach of his prohibition order, James Paterson Dloar was fined £l, in default three days’ imprisonment, and for drunkenness he was convicted and discharged. _ Teretu Ura, a young Dlaon student, who pleaded guilty_ to stealing jewellery and other articles to the total value of £l2 Is., was remanded until this morning for sentence. . For using obscene language Patrick Darcy, alias Dennis Twomey, was' fined £l. Refusing to leave the Central Hotel when requested to do so resulted in his being fined a like amount. For drunkenness he was convicted and discharged. John De Lacey Crowley, alias John Clifford Crowley, was fined £2 for a breach of his prohibition order.
