A Wanganui business firm which wrote to a Maori up the river the other day in regard to an overdue account (states an exchange), has received the following reply: “ I receive your most welcome letter yes sorry for that never mind will semi you £1 send the wrest next time thanking you you are kind goodbye' from your friend Kia Ora.” “It was not a bad drunk.
