NEW ZEALAND’S INTEREST The Prime Minister, .(.the .Right Hon. J G Coates) stated on Saturday that there was nothing ,to announce on the subject of the Government’s intentions with regard to the loan market. Ihe position, he staled, was being watched. It is understood that during recent months a considerable number of New Zealand’s 5J per cent, debentures have been sold in Australia. Recent London press comment on the underwriters’ failure in connection with the last New South Wales loan contains recognition, in two distinct quarters of the fact that New Zealand discloses more information concerning her financial position than does New South Wales. .
