DR. MacEACHERN’S VISIT
A MINISTERIAL EXPLANATION
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, March 26. The position of Dr. M. MacEachern, who is inspecting the New Zealand hospitals, was explained by the Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young) in an interview to-night. He corrected the popular impression that Dr. MacEachern was invited to report by the Government. Actually, Dr. MacEachern was visiting the Dominion and reporting on the hospitals at the request of the British Medical Association, but while in the Dominion the Government was extending him the usual courtesies tendered to distinguished guests.
