HOCKEY
UNIVERSITY CLUB. The annual meeting of the University Hockey Club was held at Victoria College on Friday night. There was a good attendance of members and intending members. The report showed that the 1925 season was successful in every respect, although none of . the three •txnns secured championship honours. ■Matches were played in Wellington against Otago University and Auckland University colleges, the former game being won bv the visiting team; and the latter ending in a draw The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. C. Hain; president, Professor Adamson; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. S. Eichelbaum, Kirk, Cousins, Foden, Whitehead, Smith, Seddon, Brown, Watson, Beere, Castle, Dixon, Taylor, A. Dunn; club captain, Mr. C. IL Hain; hon. secretary. Mr. N. J. Lewis; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. A. Kennard; hon. auditor, Mr. McCormick ; delegates to association, Messrs. Paul and Hain; committee, Messrs. Macarthur, Wilson, and Warburton.
