The Free Church Assembly at Llandrindodwells, discussed the church and morals. The Rev. Griffith-Jones, of Bradford, said that the motor-car and the golf course were the greatest enemies of the Christian church. “I know people who deliberately say, ‘For me it is a motor-car or a baby,’ ” he said, “and only too often the vote goes for a motor-car.”—Aus.-N.Z.
