SLIGHT DECREASE The following cases of infectious diseases were reported to the Health Department for the week, which ended yesterday:— Taranaki-ilorowhenua District; Scarlet fever, 1; diphtheria, 6; tuberculosis, 2; pneumonia, 1. Wairarapa East Cape District: Scarlet fever, 2; diphtheria 1; enteric fever, 1; tuberculosis, 2, pneumonia, 1; septic abortion, 1. Wellington Central District: Scarlet fever, 6; diphtheria, 3; enteric fever, 1; pneumonia, 1; opthalmic neon, 1. Nelson-Marlborough District: Scarlet fever, 1. ' Notifiable Diseases other than Infectious Diseases:—
Taranaki-Horowhcnua District: Hydatids, 2. This total (30) shows a decrease of 5 cases over the previous week’s figures.
