PRIME MINISTER’S TOUR
BUSY TIME AHEAD ON EAST COAST

Gisborne, February 15
The Prime Minister spent a quiet day in Gisborne yesterday, and early . this morning left for the East Coast, his intention being to join the GovernorGeneral at Mr. K. S. Williams’s home at Matahia, for lunch. Mr. Coates will have a busy time up the coast. No official functions will take place to-day. To-morrow Mr. Coates will open a memorial church at Tikitiki, and unveil a roll of honour. On Wednesday he will open a Maori congress and subsequently will open the Ngatiporou daify factory and Rotokautuku bridge across the Waiau River. The hui at Tikitiki will be one < f the notable gatherings in the history of the Native race, and photographs and kinematograph films will be taken by the Government Publicity Department.
