OLD NAVALS’ CLUB
The Old Navals Rifle Club fired their final match for the third series at Trentham on Saturday at 800 and 900 yards. The wind again proved very tricky - for the long ranges and misses were common at the longer range. Rllmn. Sneddon made a' good score, which placed him at the head of the list for the series. This match was also the finish for the club’s championship. Rflmn. Goldfinch retained his position and won with a total of 689 points, followed by Rflmn. Sneddon, 678, and Rflmn. Pitt. 676. Rflmn. Sneddon wins the Hodder Cup aggregate (handicap) with a handicap of 10 points, making his total 534. Rflmn. Goldfinch from scratch got 527. followed bv President Franklyn. 8 points handicap, 523. The short range aggregate (handicap) foi the Rabe Memorial Cup, goes to Rflmn. Goldfinch (handicap 1 point), 540 > Rflmn. Lawton (handicap 36). 535: Rflmn. Bishop (34), 533.
