EXCURSIONS TO PELORUS SOUND

The success of the last week-end trip to Pelorus Sound has resulted in the announcement of -two more excursions to the same beautiful spot.- The Tamahine will leave Wellington at 1.15 p.m. on Saturday next, arriving at Pieton about 4.30 p.m. There will be dancing and supper on deck that night at Picton, and early the next morning the vessel will steam round to Pelorus Sound where she will be anchored by breakfast time in the most charming or the bays at tho head of Tennyson Inlet, in which she will lie completely surrounded by wooded hills, bright with the rata, ami resounding with the calls of tho bellbird and tui. Tho morning will, be spent in swimming, fishijig, picnicking, and cruising, and one party 'nd 6e made up to take the easy walk Irom Elaine Bay to the saddle from which a magnificent view of Croixelles, Harbour is obtained. On the return trip m the afternoon the vessel will steam into Ship Cove and she will leave Pieton at 6 p.m. ou Sunday, arriving at Wellington about 9.30 p.m. On the following week-end tho programme will be the same, but an additional attraction will be the races at Blenheim on Thursday, February 25, and Saturday, February 27, which may be combined with the excursion to Pelorus Sound, or tljo raccpeoplo may simply take the opportunity afforded by the Tamaliine excursion of coming back by her from Pieton on the Sunday evening.
