A frock of ivory satin mousseline with flared skirt of silver lace ornamented on one shoulder with a cluster of silver roses centred with blue was worn by Aliss Jessie Helen Ringlaud, daughter of Air. and Airs. T. H. Ringland, at her marriage to Dr. James Fitzsimons, son of the late Air. and Airs. G. Fitzsimons, of Oamaru. The ceremony took place On Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul’s Church, Napier, and the Rev. J. A. Asher conducted the service. The bridesmaids were Aliss Rita Ringland, Aliss Dorothy Brown (of Wellington), and Aliss Joan parsons (of Waipukurau). Their frocks were of delphinium blue georgette over a foundation of silver tissue worn with headbands to match. Tiny sprays of orange blossom which had been used by her mother and grandmother at their weddings held the bride’s veil in place, and she carried a shower bouquet, as did the bridesmaids. Dr. North ,of Dunedin, was best man, and Air. W. N. Searle (Oamani) was groomsman.
