STOWAWAY IN TROUBLE

Pleading guilty in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, before Mr, E. Page. S.M., to a charge of having secreted himself on board the s.s. Moeraki from Melbourne without having first paid his passage money, John Dwyer (aged 26). a native of Ireland, was convicted and ordered to pay the sum of £7 155., the amount of his fare.
