SENT TO PRISON AND LOSES
LICENSE.

fames Morris was to-day sentenced bv Air. Platts. S.M., to seven days’ imprisonment for drunkenness while driving a motor lorry. Accused -was driving along the main .south road when he rati over a bank into a gully. He and another man were in the cab of the overturned lorry, and one. was asleep when help arrived to extricate them. Besides imprisonment, the Magistrate ordered cancellation of his driver’s license,, The lorry was laden with liquor when the accident happened.
