“Dominion” Special. Carterton, February 4. The agricultural statistics in the South Wairarapa arc now being collected, the work being carried out by the police officers. The following team will represent the Featherston Fire Brigade in the U.F.B.A. competitions at Dunedin:— Lieutenant W. Davidson, I’irenicii R. Crawley, Tidswcll and Bruce. Fireman N. Taylor will be delegate to the conference.
With a request that the Ministers’ Association be allowed to introduce the Nelson system of religious instruction in the school, the Rev. W. Stent (Anglican) and Mr. W. Kearney (Presbyterian) waited on the Greytown School Committee at its last meeting, and after hearing the deputation consideration of the matter was adjourned until next meeting.
