ITALY’S WAR DEBT
FUNDING NEGOTIATIONS IN LONDON
PARTIAL AGREEMENT REACHED

The “Daily Telegraph’s” diplomatic correspondent says the week-end may witness a complete agreement in connection with the finding of Italy’s war debt. It already has been agreed that the indebtedness shall be discharged by standard or uniform annuities within 62 years, and th ereduction of the accrued interest has been conceded.— Aus.-N.Z. FRANCE’S DEBT TO UNITED STATES ■

Henri Berenger, the new French Ambassador, who presented his credentials to President Coolidge on Wednesday, told him that “France was resolved to pay the debts contracted for her defence as promptly and fully as present and future possibilities will allow.”— Reuter.
