Oft Anniversary Day the Suburbs Rifle Club will fire the annual competition, at its range at Broadway, Miramar, for the “Daily Mail” cup and trophies. In the morning, the Memorial Cup will be shot for over ranges 300, 500, and 600 yards, and the Sir John and Lady Luke Cup will be competed for in the afternoon at 600, 700, and 800 yards. Two optional sighters will be allowed at all ranges. The “Daily Mail” Cup and a miniature will be awarded to the highest gun scorer over all ranges, and tho prize lists will include 14 additional trophies. ShooHng will commence at 8.30 a.m. It is anticipated that there will be a large attendance at this competition and every effort has been made by the executive to make tho event a successful one. Lady supporters of tho club are invited to visit the range during the afternoon to witness the shooting.
