A boy, a bicycle, and a large dog figured in an amusing incident in Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, Hie other night (states the Wanganui “Chronicle”). The boy was on the bicycle, and the dog was towing him, or the bov was towing the dog—the onlooker could not be certain which. When the dog saw another of its kind on the footpath the trouble began, and. the two utlimately parted company. Then ensued a long and stern chase up the Avenue, pedestrians endeavouring to assist the bov by treading on the trading chain. Not until a block had been traversed in this fashion was the animal recaptured. Then the pair set off again as before.
