DAY’S BAY ROAD
WILL PROBABLY BE PAVED THIS SEASON
When questioned as to the permanent paving operations yesterday, the chairman of the City and Suburban Highways Construction Board (Air. C. 1 B. Norwood) stated that the general ’progress of the work had been so satisfactory that there was now a prospect of operations being extended to the Hutt-Day’s Bay Road this season. The matter, however, had still to be submitted to the board at its next meeting before a definite instruction was issued.
