MANAWATU-OROUA RIVERS BOARD
MONTHLY MEETING. The Manawatu-Oroua Rivers Board held its monthly meeting yesterday. Air. W. S. Carter presiding. Messrs. J. L. C. Harrison, D. Collis, A. Akers, and W P. Neilson were also present. A letter was received from tho Manawatu Drainage Board requesting the River Board to join in a deputation with the Kairanga County Council to the Minister of Finance regarding the application for a loan of ,£4BOO for tho purpose of erecting a floodgate, and improving tho Drainage Board s outlet at
