The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu, which arrived in the stream at Wellington from London and Southampton, via the Panama route, made the passage in the record time for her of 37 days from Southampton, averaging 13 knots throughout the voyage. Pratique was granted, and the ship berthed at the King’s Wharf about 6 o’clock last evening. The Ruapehu brought 76 saloon and 272 third-class passengers.
