A PAINFUL ACCIDENT
FOOT CAUGHT IN CYCLE CHAIN Palmerston North, December 27. As a result of getting his left foot caught in tlie chain of a motor-cycle while riding on the pillon seat, Frank Aleliar, aged 22, residing at 162. Main Street, Palmerston North, was admitted to tlie Public Hospital this morning, suffering from injuries to two _ toes. The young man was in' the vicinity ot Bulls when tlie accident occurred. He was attended by Dr. Watson. His condition is not serious, and an operation will be performed to-morrow morning to amputate the injured toes.
