BEING WRESTED BA 7 PACIFIC FROM ATLANTIC. • (Rec. November 19, 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, November 18. Mr. Melville Dollar, a member of the millionaire firm of Pacific shipowners, speaking at the National Economic Conference in Winnipeg, declared that the Pacific is wresting trade supremacy from the Atlantic. Canada’s exports to the Orient had jumped from 5,500,000 dollars to 46,000,000 dollars in a decade, and the Vancouver ocean lines had increased from 5 to sL—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
