POLAR EXPEDITION
AMI’HIBItfUS MOTOR VEHICLES TO BE TRIED. Paris, November 18. Plans are being prepared for a Polar expedition bv French naval officers under Government auspices, starting from Spitzbergen in June. The nrincipal object of the expedition, which is travelling by six specially constructed amnliibious motor vehicles, is to cross the great unexplored region between the North Pole and Point Barrow, Alaska, and find whether land exists therein.— Svdnev "Sun” Cable.
