MURDER ON THE MELITA
TOWERS FOUND GUILTY, BUT INSANE. (Rec. November 19, 9.55 p.m.) London, November 19. Towers, late first officer of the steamer Melita, charged with the murder of Captain Clews, was found guilty, but insane and was ordered to be defamed during- His Majesty’s pleasure. lhe evidence, showed that after disputes on the Melita' suspicion-, rested on the accused of making a report to headquarters about the captain behind the latter’s back.—Reuter.
