FASCIST SCHEME FOR PAYING IT OFF DOLLAR A YEAR EACH FOR FIVE YEARS Rome, November 18. ‘ A Genoa coal syndicate, comprising thirty thousand members, all Fascists, has suggested a patriotic scheme, under which five million Italians would voluntarily subscribe a dollar each annually for five years to pay off the debt to America by the instalments agreed upon at Washington. Fascist organisations in other centres. including the Milan Fascist Directory, have warmly approved of the scheme, and convoked provincial and communal conferences to make the movement national. Wealthy members are expected largely to exceed, the minimum gift. The banks and industrial concerns are expected to contribute largely, also women from their savings, and workers bv means of overtime and extra worp.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
