UNFAIR DIFFERENTIATION ALLEGED (Rec. November 18, 10.25 p.m.) London, November 17. Mr. J. H. Thomas gave notice to raise a debate on the Government’s alleged differentiation of treatment of Fascists and Communists. Sir Douglas Hogg (Attorney-Gener-al) made a statement that the Public Prosecutor, on his own initiative, withdrew proceedings against four Fascists because there was no evidence to support a charge of larceny of the "Daily Herald’s” motor-van. On the contrary, the Labour Attorney-General last year ordered the withdrawal of proceedings against the editor of the “Workers’ Weekly.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn!
