LONDON BAKERS CHARGING TOO MUCH FOOD COUNCIL’S REPORT London, November 17. ■ The Food Council reports that when the price of straight-run flour ranges from 48s. to 425. for ,280 pounds, the price of the quartern loaf should not exceed lOd.; when flour is from 325. to 365. per 280 pounds, the price of bread should not exceed Bd. per quartern. A variation of ds. intermediately alters the price of bread by id. These prices must be considered the maximum.
