THE “BREAKING UP” The schools in the Wellington Education Board, district will “break up’ for the Christmas vacation oil or about December 18. It is interesting to note that there are no fewer than 11, <124 children on the rolls at the present time, the greatest attendance being at the Newtown School, where the roll number is 897, The roll numbers at the other schools are as Berhampore, 565; Brooklyn, Clyde Ouav 754: Hataitai, 343; Island Bay, 687: Kaiwarra, 138; Karori, 381; Khandallali, 256; Kilbirnie, 459; Lyall Bav, 762; Miramar South, 523; Mt. Cook Bovs 240; Mt. Cook Girls, 180; Mt. Cook Infants, 318; Ngaio, 20a; Northland, 180; Normal (Kelburn), 425; Normal (Tliorndon), 437 ; Roseneath, 178, Seatoun, 263; South Wellington, 736; Te Aro, 772; Terrace, 533; Wadestown, 182; Worser Bay, 199.
