KARITANE BONDS
RETURNS START TO COME IN. The sale of Karitane bonds, by which the Wellington Boy Scouts hope to swell the Karitane Hospital Fund by £5OOO this week, began .on Monday, and is being carried on daily till Saturday, when the city proper will be canvassed by a big team. It is intended that the troops shall send in returns of their receipts daily so that tho progress of the sale can be watched, and it will .bo interesting to note not only which troops are most successful, but which areas of the city provide the most lively response. Monday’s returns were incomplete yesterday. The following, totals were reported: Wellesley College, £35; Y.M.C.A., £7 12s. 6d.
