GOOD WORK RECOGNISED
PRESENTATION TO SIR JAMES AND LADY GUNSON, By Telegraph—Press AssociationAuckland, November 16. Tho good work done by Sir James and Lady- Gunson will be publicly recognised next Monday, when, a presentation ceremony will be hold at tho Town Hall. Sir James Gunson will be presented with a silver model of the new museum building, now' being erected in the Dominion as a war memorial. The model is true to scale, and stands on a bronze pedestal. An illuminated address will also be presented ,to Sir Jame* Gunson, and a << baby ,J grand to Lady Gunson. . The committee in charge of the presentation has decided, with the consent and approval of Sir James Gunson, to devote the remainder of its funds to the establishment of a university scholarship in agriculture, to be known as the Sir James Gunson Scholarship. For this purpose there is a sum of ,£l2OO available, on which there will be n Government subsidy, bringing the total to =£2400. This means that tho scholarship will have an annual value of over ,£125 Tho scholarship, which will bo open to New Zealand students, will bo tenable at Auckland University College.
