LONG AFRICAN FLIGHT
BY THREE BRITISH AIRMEN. 9 * Cairo, November 15. The three British airmen have arrived at t Geneina on their return from Kano '(Nigeria) .—Reuter. [Squadron-Leader Coningham and Flight-Lieutenant Baggs started from Helouan on October 27 and arrived at Kano (Northern Nigeria) on November 1. The route followed passed through the Sudan, French Equatorial Africa, and past Lake Chaid. ’lhe places visited for refuelling were Assouan, on the Nile, Khartum, El Obcrd, and El Fash?r in the Sudan, Abecher and Fort Lamv in French Equatorial Africa, and Maidugari and Kano jn Nigeria. Ihe flight was undertaken for-the purpose of gaining experience in long-distance flvine over tropical countries.!
