Markman), of the Post, and Telegraph Department, has roj celved the following information from the radio station nt Awarua :—“Tito following was broadcasted by Melbourne radio at 10.33 p.m.: 'Steamship Carina sighted floating object, 30 feet long. 5 feet high, dangerous to navigation, at 4.40 a.m.. June 19, lat 37.43, long. 140.00 cast, Cape Martin, bearing north, three degrees west magnetic; distance 12} miles.”' BY TELEGRAPH. OVERSEA. SYDNEY, .Tune 19.
