The deepest spot in any ocean baa been sounded in the Pacific, about 50 miles off the Japanese coast. A Japanese warship has reported that the lead aank to a depth of 22.fi ttft., more than six and one-fourth miles, without touching bottom. Britain is now exporting large quantities of eucuiabtrs to Germany.
