GALA DAT AT VICTORIA GREEN. One of tho happiest days of the season vn the Victoria Bowling Club green is the day past members play the present members. This took place on Saturday afternoon, when the weather was as perfect as the green. There were hardly enough of the "Pasts to fill all the greens, but in most instances the cleavage was distinct.. After a very pleasant afternoon, enjoyed, to rhe full by evervone victory lay with the past members by a margin of 25 points on the aggregate.
PLAY AT WESTPORT. By Telegraph— Pless Association Westport, March 21. A match was plnved on the Westport Bowling Club’s green to-day, the chain pions oi Westport, Greymouth and Runanga competing. F. Blaxall (Westport) defeated Graham (Greymouth), 2(>—-18; Graham defeated Clark (Bunanga), 17—12; and B’axall defeated Graham, 31—9. Blaxall thus become' champion of champions of tho West Coast.
