DECEASED PERSONS’ ESTATES

CERTIFICATIONS FOR STAMP DUTY. During last year, 5170 estates, of a total value of £16,537,137, were certified for stamp duty in the Dominion. These were made up as follow: —

During March of the present year 434 estates of a total value of £1,752,235 were certified for duty . while for the three months of 1924 ending March 31, 1185 estates of a value of £4,852,359 were certified.
