TJie General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church at Melbourne, while agreeing that it was right for any clergyman who felt moved to practice spiritual healing that he should do so, definitely decided not to hold a spiritual healing mission in the Presbyterian Church.

No one should miss buying a copy of this week’s “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review,” as it stands alone in pictorial and all-round excellence, covering as it does, events of cosmopolitan interest. The centre pages will make wide general appeal with their fine selection of photographs vividly depicting the sinking of H.M.S. Australia, and showing tho final scenes leading up to its destruction. . The Royal Sydney Show, with animated views of competitions, occupies considerable space, and tho Australian Jockey Club’s Autumn Carnival at Randwick gives a glimpse, of tho sport of kings on the other side. A very excellent series of snapshots and group photographs give a visual account of the Avondale Jockey Club’s recent meeting, while the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Meeting at Riccarton and the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s gathering at Addington make up further pages that will carry particular interest. Special attention will be taken in a selection of snaps devoted to the complimentary fleet race, meeting at Trentliam, and further pictorial reviews of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting at Ellerslie also command attention. Among a miscellaneous array of up-to-date happenings appear Anzac Day happenings in Wellington and Wanganui, tho “Sally” company at Surfdale, the executive of tho New Zealand Rugby Union, Onehunga Fire Brigade Team, arrival of General Bramwell Booth, Waikato v.
