Mr. Cole, in answer to a question, stated that he • had never experienced such excitement amongst drapery buyers during the w'hole of his many years in the business. He wishes to apologise to the numerous anxious shoppers who were not attended to during the extraordinary rush of business, and he thanks the staff who worked like trojans, but it was impossible for them to do more. This record-breaking sale will be carried on for some days yet, and as the whole of tho huge stocks of general drapery are to be cleared, the public are assured of ■wonderful bargains each day of this sale. The public want to make a point of replenishing their drapery stocks now, for such an opportunity may never occur again. Cole’s Cash Drapery Company will onen at .9.30 this morning, and will be closed from 12.15 Io 1.15 for hinch for the next two. days, and closed from 6 t.o 7 on Friday.—Advt.
