FIRE IN UPPER WILLIS STREET
The Central Fire Brigade received a call at 10.29 last night to a fire at Messrs. Bird and Jansen’s, furniture and billiard manufacturers, at 157-159 Upper Willis Street. The outbreak was quickly suppressed, the building and its contents being only slightly damaged.
