RADIO SOCIETY MEETING

A meeting of those interested in the formation of a Wellington radio society was held last evening. About two dozen were present, and Mr. T. JI. Wilford, M.P., was voted to ihe chair.

It was decided, that the acting-honor-ary secretary, Mr. Chatfield, be instructed to obtain the full text of the agreement reported to have been arrived at between the representatives of the Post and Telegraph Department and the New Zealand Broadcast Committee regarding the proposed broadcasting scheme. The constitution and rules drawn up by the provisional committee were read to the meeting. It was decided that, they bo printed and submitted to the inaugural meeting of the society, to be held on Jlny 15.

It was resolved that the society bo registered under the Unclassified Societies' Act, when the membership reaches fifty senior members. The Dominion Radio Company was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for broadcasting.,gratis, information concerning the society.
