THE WINTER SHOW
' POULTRY. CAT AND CANARY SOCIETY JOINS UP. At the last meeting the Wellington Poultry, Cat, and Canary Society it was unanimously resolved that the fortysecond annual exhibition of this society should be held in conjunction with the first winter show in July, which makes another valuable attraction to a large section of the community interested in the "fancy.” The society, taking advantage of this opportunity, has set itself out to make this year’s show the most comprehensive on record, and exhibits from near and far are anticipated. Championships will be allotted in due course. A little later on will be announced the date of entries, and after that space will be allotted in one of the four big Harbour Board sheds which have been placed at thn disposal of the show committee.
