EASTBOURNE FERRIES
SPECIAL PETONE SERVICE. The Eastbourne Borough Council ha« decided, for the convenience of Hutt Valley residents, to run a ferry service from Petone to Wellington at 7-10 a.m., find from Wellington to Petone nt 5.15 p m., daily, until further notice. To-day (Fleet Day) the Duchess will leave Petone Wharf at 1.30 for town io enable Hutt Valley residents to join in the welcome to the fleet. The Duchess end the Muritai will leave the Ferry Wharf at 9 a.m. to-day on a special excursion to the Wellington Heads in order to welcome the Fleet. Tickets are now obtainable at the Ferry offices.
