NEW ZEALAND LADY EIDER SERIOUSLY INJURED.

(Rec. April 23, 0.10 a.m.) Sydney, April 22. Miss Vera MacMillan, the New Zealand rider, who was a contestant in the Bond Hosiery ladies’ hunting event at the show, met with a bad accident. She was riding the horse Snowstorm, and was thrown at the sod wall, the horse falling upon her. She was removed to hospital, and is reported to be in a serious condition owing to spinal injuries.—Press Assn.
